פָּשַׁל(cmp. פָּתַל) to twist, knot, v. infra. Hif. הִפְשִׁיל 1) to knot and fasten. Tosef.Sabb.IV (V), 2 ויַפְשִׁיל את הרצועה תחת זנבו and fasten the strap under its tail; Y. ib.
